Sysco Unit Wins Defense Contract
Houston: The Houston Business Journal reports that a subsidiary of Houston food distributor Sysco Corp. has been awarded a $29.4 million contract by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Sysco Food Services of Louisville will provide food and beverage distribution to Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and other defense department customers in Kentucky and surrounding areas.
The contract runs through October 2009.
