Print ArticleToronto: Transportation and supply chain solutions provider Ryder System Inc. has announced the grand opening of two new Canadian service facilities. The new Concord location is Ryder’s twelfth location in the Greater Toronto Area. The new Ottawa location marks Ryder’s second location in Ottawa.
“These centralized locations were built to better serve the needs of our valued customers and accommodate the increasing demand for our fleet services in these growing markets,” notes Doug Hill, vice president of operations - Fleet Management Solutions, Ryder Canada. “This is an extension of our commitment to providing reliable services that exceed our customers’ expectations.”
These facilities will immediately service Ryder’s growing Full Service Lease and Programmed Maintenance customers with a diverse fleet of more than 500 vehicles that include panel vans, light-and heavy-duty straight trucks, as well as tractors. The new locations include fully-equipped truck repair shops staffed with qualified diesel technicians, in order to service Ryder’s extensive commercial fleet leasing and rental customers.
