QuestaWeb Launches TradeMaster 4.0 Software

Westfield, NJ: QuestaWeb Inc., a provider of web-based integrated trade and logistics management solutions, has announced the release of TradeMaster 4.0, the newest addition to the firm’s growing catalog of product offerings. The move to version 4.0 reflects QuestaWeb’s commitment to offer customers the most advanced features available, supported by underlying software components that leverage the latest in technology. In addition, TradeMaster 4.0 concurrently integrates “best business processes” for importers/exporters as well as brokers/freight forwarders, an accomplishment made possible by a corporate structure that separates import/export and brokerage/freight forwarding into two divisions to better serve each group’s unique needs.

TradeMaster 4.0 offers integration of authentication login procedures with the active directories; totally automated remote distribution of documentation via e-mail and printout; fully automated Denied Party List screening down to the name and/or address level; complete support of 64-bit operating systems, affording more memory and faster operations; compatibility with both Oracle 10g and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

In addition, TradeMaster 4.0 implements Microsoft’s .NET Framework Version 2.0, yielding advanced functionality such as synchronous database operations as well as XML data and large value types; enhanced transmission security via authenticated streams; and advanced data protection made possible by encrypted passwords, keys, connection strings and memory.

Leon Turetsky, QuestaWeb CEO, says: “The release of TradeMaster 4.0 takes QuestaWeb to the next level in terms of advanced system capabilities and functionality. More important, it positions QuestaWeb as able to respond to increasing requests for applications that recognize new dimensions in global trade.”
