Kirkland, WA.: Truck manufacturer Kenworth has announced its Kenworth PremierCare Freedom Package is now available for its medium duty conventional trucks.

The Kenworth PremierCare Freedom Package is a combination of an extended basic vehicle warranty and preventive maintenance program, with a two-to five-year term that can be purchased with a new Kenworth medium duty truck and wrapped into a finance package.

“Our goal for the Freedom Package is to provide a cost-effective program which marries an extended warranty package with a preventive maintenance program,” says Dick Von Lehman, Kenworth PremierCare national sales manager for service. “It’s new for medium duty customers and provides a level of security against the unknown, thanks to the extended vehicle warranty. In addition, the cost per mile for maintenance can be as low as five cents per mile based on the five-year package.”

By selecting the Freedom Package, customers have all proper maintenance via S-level service (lube, oil/filter and 75-point safety inspection) and C-level service (comprehensive service with 147-point inspection) which qualifies for the annual DOT and one California quarterly inspection. A B-level service (comprehensive service with 120-point inspection) replaces the C-Level service in years two through five.
