Milwaukee: HK Systems Inc., a material handling and supply chain software solutions provider, has announced the release of HKEMS version 9.0, a state-of-the-art Warehouse Control System (WCS). The product controls and coordinates container sortation, storage and movement within a facility and provides supervisory control for equipment. HKEMS was developed specifically as an equipment and inventory management system for new and retrofitted applications including AS/RS, AGVs, conveyor, sortation, robotics and more.

HKEMS offers a new intuitive user interface including a navigation ribbon and tabbed views to provide quick access to all screens and simultaneous visibility to multiple screens. Multiple data views, hyperlinks, customizable display preferences and data update intervals provide for ultimate flexibility. Commands are easy to identify, access, and execute and user defined filters can be saved to make them available from any workstation.

HKEMS also provides a real-time graphical display of load movement, equipment status, and visual notification of situations requiring human intervention. It also features the ability to pull in live video from Ethernet-enabled cameras that monitors the system.
