Rosedale, MD: F.P. Winner Ltd., a distributor of beer, wine and spirits throughout Maryland, has selected RIMS, Robocom’s warehouse management system.

F.P. Winner will implement RIMS to manage its new 300,000-square-foot automated distribution center here. RIMS will be at the heart of the new operation and will be used to manage these new increased volumes.

F. P. Winner’s volume has risen 33 percent in recent years with the addition of brands such as Corona and will exceed 4,400,000 cases this year and grow by 10 percent annually over the next five years.

Managing growth of this magnitude required an investment in facilities and technology in order to continue providing the superior service for which the company is noted.
