Delhaize Selects Galleria to Enhance Customer Shopping Experience


Chicago: Galleria Retail Technology Solutions, a provider of advanced retail automation and optimization solutions, announced it will provide Belgian food retailer Delhaize Group with automated assortment and space planning optimization solutions. Using its Automated Micro Assortment Planner and Automated Micro Space Planner, Galleria will deliver customer centric assortments communicated through tailored, automated planograms, to more than 150 Delhaize stores across Belgium.

The decision follows U.S. Delhaize Group company Hannaford Bros. recent announcement to implement Galleria's solution. Food Lion, another U.S. Delhaize Group company, also selected Galleria for a similar project in 2006.
