Guenther Son Inc., which produces a variety of dry and frozen grain-based food products at six production facilities in the U.S., has purchased Williams Foods, producer of Williams Chili Seasoning and other seasonings, mixes and food products under the Williams, Sun Bird and Country Store brands.
Steve Phillips, C.H. Guenther's vice president of human resources says the Williams Foods business name will continue, but the company will be run from C.H. Guenther's San Antonio headquarters.
Williams has more than 200 employees at three production facilities in the Kansas City area. According to reports, no changes are planned for Williams Foods' staff or operations according to Phillips.
