FSIS Expands Garden Fresh Recall

Wisconsin-based ready-to-eat food distributor recalls another 6,000-plus pounds on Listeria concerns

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported yesterday that Garden Fresh Foods is recalling an additional 6,694 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken and ham products on concerns the items may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Yesterday's announced recall is in addition too 19,054 pounds recalled back on September 25.

Garden Fresh Foods is a national supplier and distributor of ready-to-eat products to grocery chains, restaurants, health care facilities and institutions. Some of the recalled items included "Market Pantry" and "Archer Farms" brand products sold at Target stores. To read more, click HERE.
