3D Food Printing Technology on Display at SXSW Eco Event

NASA contractor shows off their 3D food printer at industry event in Texas


By no means are they the only company working on the cutting-edge technology of 3D food printing, but NASA contractor Anjan Contractor (appropreiately named) and his 3D printer that makes pizza from powered ingredients is turning heads at the South by Southwest Eco event in Texas this week.

Contractor is still waiting for FDA approval, so convention goers cannot actually eat and taste the 3D-made pizza. The South By Southwest Eco event will feature 250 speakers over three days detailing the latest conservation efforts relating to water, energy, and transportation.
