Intermodal Hits Another Record in August

U.S. intermodal traffic set another record for average weekly volume in August, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR). The new record set in August was up 4.4% from August of 2012 numbers and beat the previous record set in July.

Intermodal continues to surge and is enjoying what John Gray, AAR’s senior vice president of policy and economics called "the best intermodal month in history for both U.S. and Canadian railroads.” To read more, click HERE.
