DOT Orders MTI Transportation To Shut Down

FMCSA finds trucking company to be safety hazard.


The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) ordered Alabama-based truck company MTI Transportation to immediately cease all transportation services based due to safety hazards. "We must keep our nation's roadways safe for drivers and passengers," said US transportation secretary Ray LaHood.
