BrightFarms Builds Greenhouse In Ward 8
BrightFarms—a company that finances, builds and operates greenhouses close to supermarkets in order to maximize supply chain efficiency— has decided to build a 100,000 square-foot hydroponic greenhouse in DC’s Ward 8. “This greenhouse farm project is consistent with our Sustainable DC Food goals" to see increased access to healthy foods within the city, said mayor Gray.
