Possible Repeal Of Monsanto Protection Act
Senator Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon) is hoping to repeal the so-called “Monsanto Protection Act” which was recently approved by Congress and signed by President Obama in late March. House Bill 933 is a spending bill which house a few, but critical sentences which exempt biotech companies from litigation in the production and distribution of genetically modified organisms (GMO’s).
