Key Features: Western Star features roomy, comfortable cabs, the new Stratosphere walk-through sleeper and more than 8,000 custom options. Three models are available from Western Star Truck for over-the-road applications: 4900 EX, 4900 FA and the 4900 SA. The axle forward 4900 EX features a 132-inch BBC. The axle forward 4900 FA and the set-back axle 4900 SA are available in 109- and 123-inch BBCs. A variety of powertrain options are available including Cat, Detroit Diesel and Mercedes-Benz. There are more than 300 dealers in Western Star's growing service network.
