Tompkins Associates, Raleigh, NC, is using Kiva Systems' Mobile Fulfillment System (MFS) in its Emerging Technology Center (ETC) in Orlando, FL. The MFS uses a fleet of mobile robotic units to store, move and sort pallets, cases and orders. The MFS stores inventory on pods that are picked up and moved around by robotic drive units. Workers will now have access to every product in the building without ever having to leave their stations.
