IFDA Honors Gordon Food Service's Dan Gordon For Leadership

The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA), Falls Church, VA, presented the association's Cornerstone Award to Daniel Gordon, president and CEO of Gordon Food Service, Grand Rapids, MI, at the 2008 IFDA Partners Executive Forum. The Cornerstone Award is presented annually to a leader who has shown outstanding industry leadership, support and service and has played an integral role in leading IFDA.

"Dan is a true leader who has been generous with his time and counsel and has provided leadership on legislative and regulatory priorities," says Mark S. Allen, president and CEO of IFDA.

Gordon has been a member of the IFDA Board of Directors for the past 12 years and previously served on the IFDA Executive Committee and as the association's chairman from 2002 to 2004.
