Material Deadlines

We must have all HTML and text creative for an e-Blast at least seven business days prior to it running. This will allow four days for upload and testing, two days for client approval and one day to upload the final approved version and schedule for delivery.

If we are designing, please add three days to the above deadline.

We prefer to have all creative as soon as possible following the signing of an insertion order.


Specifications


  • A pre-designed, HTML e-mail message covering your company, product(s), service(s), or any other information you want your customers to see
  • We can also design your blast from a print advertisement, a PDF, or from scratch
  • A subject line that meets our approval must also be provided
  • Subject lines should be as enticing as possible, more than ONE word, and NOT in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
  • Rich media is not accepted
  • Animated GIFs are discouraged as Microsoft Outlook 2007 will not accept them
  • Pre-designed blasts should be mindful of differences in e-mail client compatibility
  • A blast that is a single linked image is NOT recommended, as many of today's e-mail platforms block images. An HTML e-mail should be a combination of text and images with a call-to-action within the text component
  • If sending a pre-designed blast, a text version must be included

  • 75×75 when ad is closed (half of this is cut off due to angle)
  • 500×500 when ad is open (half of this is cut off due to angle)
  • Flash file type, frame rates must not exceed 15 fps
  • 400k total file size(without video), 2.2 megs (with video)
  • Animation looping is allowed. Unlimited looping, each loop must be 15 seconds maximum
  • Video is allowed in True Streaming format. Progressive download available on click only. 30 seconds max. 2.2 megs file size
  • Audio available on click or mouse-over. If on mouse-over, there must be a 1 second delay. The audio must stop when the banner is moused-off. 30 seconds maximum on audio served in conjunction with a video stream. Audio served independent of a video stream may be 15 or 30 seconds.
